Kisha Lendore is a caring and experienced licensed therapist who advocates for wellness that invites all cultural and spiritual backgrounds.
After opening the “virtual doors” to her therapy practice 2022 she was wanting to reach more people that needed help navigating the rollercoaster of life – and learning how to drive it!
We were connected through my copywriter friend, Brittany Downey, to talk about creating a website that would connect to people seeking help to her therapy practice.
The Challenge: Streamline messaging and connect with individuals looking for a safe, non-judgmental space

Kisha had an agency lined up to design a beautiful and functional website, but when it came to streamlining her message and writing the copy, she wanted to turn over the reins to a professional writer – that’s me!
Although my clients are always fabulous communicators and Kisha was no exception, writing website copy can feel like a whole new full time job – and that’s no fun when you’re already hustling to run your own business.
I was so excited to jump into Kisha’s world and hear the stories that shaped her life and therapy practice!
The Solution: Hire a copywriter and have some fun!

Kisha completed the ICON Assessment - my signature questionnaire that brought her empathetic and enthusiastic personality for helping others to the surface, as well as some pretty great stories!
Then, some of her past and present clients filled out an anonymous feedback survey that gave even more insight into what makes Kisha so good at what she does while still protecting their privacy.
From there I created a custom Messaging Guide that pulled out highlights from the ICON Assessment and feedback survey so we could nail down exactly what to focus on for the website copy before spending hours on a first draft.
Then I hip-hopped to it and wrote her Home, About, and FAQs page based on all of the juicy info I had gathered through the discovery process!
After revisions, we sent it all over to the design agency and they worked their magic to create Kisha’s well-deserved new website.
When asked how she felt about her website she said “I feel incredibly proud as I read it. It provides a very warm and welcoming first encounter for potential clients.”
Why I loved this project
Kisha is an absolute superstar at what she does and her clients' words proved it.
Everyone spoke to how Kisha shows genuine interest in her clients and helps them balance sound mental health with their identity and upbringing.
When getting to know her, I specifically loved seeing how she encourages people to embrace familiar rituals and practices that hold meaning, while also giving them the freedom to totally scrap those that don’t!
Let’s just say I’m a BIG fan, and can’t wait to see how her practice grows even more!
