PEG Staffing & Recruiting: Job Ads
I’ve been on a roll with projects from my partner Pryority Group! This is my third case study about helping recruiters and staffing firms nail their copy.
Working with Karen Spann and the PEG Staffing & Recruiting team was incredibly rewarding as they understand that conversational and professional don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
The challenge:
PEG had several job ads with thorough job descriptions but wanted to really make job seekers stop scrolling and engage with their ads. Through their sales training they were on the path to updating their job ads, but decided to work with me and accelerate the process.
The solution:
I went to town updating around 20 job ads with engaging headlines and intros, clearly defined sections, exciting descriptions of what the candidate would do in the role, what the company offered, and my favorite section – a few notes on why the role may not be a good fit.
After all, the goal is to get the RIGHT people, not just anyone! But part of that was reinforcing the company's benefits with some smirky copy like “This isn’t a good fit if you don’t want a supportive team.”
All jokes aside, Karen said her biggest takeaway in having her copy updated by a professional copywriter was “excellence, efficiency, and accuracy” and I had such a great time writing it.
I’ll take fries with that!
